Abstract

A good start for any research is to formulate a tentative title as a result of a measured reflection. However, this ideal is far from being possible due to researchers' erroneous practices. The purpose of the research is to analyze the problem of the formulation of inadequate titles in the educational sciences, and to propose a methodological route that favors the formulation of research titles in an adequate manner in order to guarantee the subsequent exploratory research with a view to formulating the research project. After an analysis based on the bibliographic review, it has been determined the proposal of five steps for the formulation of tentative research titles in the field of educational sciences; these procedures are in the process of validation and revision for a later formalization.
