Abstract
The present article is one of the results of a joint research project between the groups PEA-MAT and DIMAT, respectively from PUC-SP and PUCP, which aims to present two local mathematical organizations related to the teaching of systems of linear equations. The theoretical framework is Chevallard's Anthropological Theory of Didactics and the motivation for such a study was the observation that both the teachers who participated in the continuing education in the scope of this project and the textbooks of the two countries emphasize the know-how of this content without explaining its justifications. We present here two local praxeologies based on two tasks and possible techniques to solve them, justifying them through a technological-theoretical discourse, generally absent in the teaching of this content.
