Authorship Contribution Policy (CRediT)

To ensure transparency in the authorship process and to recognize the specific contributions of each person involved in the development of manuscripts, the journal Llimpi adopts the CRediT Taxonomy (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) as the international standard for reporting author contributions.

This taxonomy allows authors to clearly identify the roles performed during the development of a scientific article, promoting transparency and preventing unethical practices such as honorary authorship or unjustified omission of contributors.

The CRediT taxonomy defines a set of standardized roles that describe the different types of contributions made by authors during the research and publication process.

CRediT Contributor Roles

  • Conceptualization: Formulation or development of the research ideas and objectives.
  • Data Curation: Management and organization of research data for analysis and future use.
  • Formal Analysis: Application of statistical, mathematical, computational, or analytical techniques.
  • Funding Acquisition: Acquisition of financial support for the research project.
  • Investigation: Execution of the research and data collection activities.
  • Methodology: Design and development of the research methodology or models.
  • Project Administration: Coordination and management of the research project.
  • Resources: Provision of study materials, instruments, data, or other research tools.
