TICs in the teaching and learning of descriptive statistics in technological higher education in Peru

The research started with the objective of determining the influence of ICT as a strategy in the teaching-learning of descriptive statistics in the students of the IESTP Andrés Avelino Cáceres Dorregaray of San Agustín de Cajas, Huancayo, with a population of 540, and a non-probabilistic sample of 30 students of the second semester, the scientific method and specific methods, the experimental and the hypothetical deductive, pre-experimental design, were used; having a single analysis group, to which the didactic proposal with ICTs for learning descriptive statistics was applied; Applying an objective test of descriptive statistics learning at the beginning and at the end, the results were statistically analyzed using the means comparison test of the “t” test, obtaining with a p-value less than 0.05 that there are significant differences. . between the initial test and the final test that was applied to the study group, demonstrating the influence of ICTs in the teaching-learning of descriptive statistics in the students of the study sample.
