Abstract
Given the current demand to establish connections between mathematics topics, as well as mathematics and other disciplines, it is necessary to provide teachers with training opportunities in which they can identify situations that meet that purpose. During the workshop, problems with the potential to establish connections between the mathematical competencies of the Peruvian National Curriculum were identified in mathematics textbooks, having the competency of solving problems of regularity, equivalence, and change as the main concept. Thus, examples were shown of how situations involving quantity, data management, and uncertainty can be transformed for said purpose. In that process, participants used their mathematical knowledge related to divisibility and curve adjustment, which contributed to the development of generalized algebraic reasoning.
