Abstract
This research describes a strategic proposal to intervene in the processes of understanding mathematical rules. For this purpose, a diagnostic test of knowledge was applied, which was the starting point for the selection of a set of ludic resources and contextual situations that can help to initiate the process of generalization of mathematical pattern rules in students of the second grade of secondary education of the sixth gradeof regular basic education, of the public educational institution "Simon Bolivar" of Cusco -Peru.
