Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of learning styles on group didactic strategies for learning Geometry in educational institutions in the province of Huancayo. The sample consisted of three sections of the "Politécnico Regional del Centro" Educational Institution, divided into two experimental groups and one control group, which were given an entrance test. Using the CHAEA questionnaire, for the identification of the styles and the formation of the work groups, one of them worked with the cooperative learning strategy and the other one carried out group work, for the learning of geometry in the topic of triangles. It is concluded that there is a significant difference in the influence of learning styles in the group didactic strategies in the learning of geometry in the educational institutions of the province of Huancayo; observing a slight advantage in favor of the cooperative learning strategy over group learning.
