Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the influence of the 3Rs technique related to the environmental attitudes of boys and girls of a primary school located in a rural area of the district of Moya, Huancavelica. Methods: applied research, with a pre-experimental design, for which instruments have been designed for an environmental attitude test, application sheet and observation sheet. The population sample consisted of 22 students, boys and girls from first to sixth grade, from the Educational Institution N° 36053. The environmental attitude test was applied on the 3Rs (3 R's) technique; then, the evaluation of environmental attitudes was made through an environmental attitude test and application sheet. The results show in the entrance test, 77% (17) of the total of the study sample have a negative attitude, and only 23% (5) have a positive attitude; that is, at the beginning of the research the environmental attitude was negative; after the application of the 3Rs technique, the situation is reversed, because the majority (86%) of the children obtained a positive environmental attitude; while 14% (3) of the children show no change with respect to the environmental attitude. Conclusion: The 3Rs technique has a significant influence on the environmental attitudes of the children of this institution.
