The production centers of the Universidad Nacional Intercultural Juan Santos Atahualpa (UNISCJSA) play a strategic role both in students’ practical training and in generating institutional income. However, they currently face limitations in the management of their processes due to the absence of an integrated system that enables efficient planning, supervision, and monitoring of activities. The aim of this study was to design a management system (SiGePro) oriented toward strengthening operational efficiency, administrative transparency, and information traceability. The research was applied in nature, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, and descriptive, propositional scope. An institutional diagnosis was conducted through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, based on which a prototype was developed, grounded on software engineering principles and good practices in university management. The design incorporates modules for activity scheduling, inventory control, report generation, and production recording. The results of the conceptual validation demonstrate significant potential to optimize management processes and support institutional decision-making. A pilot implementation and longitudinal evaluation are recommended to assess its real impact.
