Abstract
Emerging technologies in higher education institutions are an essential component for the proper performance of students with motor disabilities. The general objective is to understand the perceptions of Peruvian students regarding the impact of these technologies on students with motor disabilities. The methodology employed followed a qualitative approach. The study population consisted of students aged 18 to 25 years from a higher education institution located in Lima, Peru. The sampling was non-probabilistic and convenience-based, comprising 10 participants aware of the barriers or challenges faced by individuals with motor disabilities within educational institutions. The results indicate that most respondents express concern about the issue and believe that the use of technological tools can significantly benefit the well-being of individuals with motor limitations. Furthermore, they perceive that the higher education institution they attend lacks inclusive and functional facilities, as it does not comprehensively offer adapted spaces for people with disabilities.
