Abstract

In this work, the integral development of a person with multiple disabilities is described as a multidimensional and integral evolutionary process, based on the life experiences of the family of the subject under study identified as Rebecca, being the beginning of this narrative and the reason for the investigation, as the main protagonist of this story. The objective of this research is to explain why comprehensive development by strengthening all dimensions enhances the learning process of a person with psychosocial disability and Turner syndrome. For the elaboration of this work, a qualitative and explanatory research methodology is applied, as well as direct observation, this type of research is used since it is the one that meets the expectations raised to obtain the necessary information in the development of this report. In correspondence with what has been reviewed, field research is considered; with interviews to 3 experts; review with the parents to develop the life history of the subject under study. As a relevant result, the present study allowed to demonstrate the potential, importance and relevance of family support in the teaching-learning and socialization processes that were required for the integral development of the study subject. The case study has made it possible to show that educational needs are met in an elementary way through schooling based on sensory stimuli.
