In Peru it has caused and continues to cause deaths, and the biggest problem was the non-existence of medicinal oxygen to the great majority of the population that was affected by the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) infection. For this reason, the case of two patients with covid-19 is reported, who were with FiO2 <80% and with low-flow oxygen therapy, overcome the condition and to sustain SpO2, an unprecedented decision began with the chacchado or chewed coca, resulting in an improvement and sustained SpO2 through oximetry and they progressively abandon oxygen therapy.
