Abstract

Higher education organizations in the Department of Huancavelica do not standardize their processes, until 2014 in the Huancavelica Region there is no entity certified with any ISO 9001 Standard or similar, among these entities is the Regional Government of Huancavelica, who have processes, but these are not standardized, nor is it certified by a specialized external entity, that is why it is necessary to find an information system model that is based on the processes offered by the ISO 9001: 2015 standard. Thus, the research has the general objective of carrying out a bibliometric analysis on the Information System Based on the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard in the Processes in Higher Education Organizations of the Department of Huancavelica, for this purpose, the bibliometric analysis of the scientific production on information systems and higher education worldwide has been used. Using the R package and the associated biblioshiny, the study analyzed 408 research articles published in Scopus between 2015 and 2024. The study applied performance analysis, keyword analysis, and thematic analysis. Indonesia is the country with the highest production (214 publications), followed by the United States (62 publications), and the majority of these collaborations occur from Indonesia to Malaysia. The rapid growth of the keywords "system information" and "higher education" demonstrated the interest of researchers, industry professionals, governments, investors, and all other key stakeholders in the need to optimize information processing with artificial intelligence features.
