Abstract

The scientific article presented was motivated by the judicial experience in the processing of misdemeanor cases at the Second Civil Court of Huancavelica. It was observed that the transaction, as a mechanism provided by the law itself to the litigants, proved to be effective in concluding misdemeanor cases more expeditiously. This was mainly because the parties could verify that their conflicts were resolved under the rules of the game they themselves proposed and the commitments they voluntarily assumed. This willingness also facilitated the faster conclusion of misdemeanor cases, avoiding a substantive judicial pronouncement, such as a verdict.
