EVALUATION OF PRODUCTIVE AND CHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF THREE VARIETIES OF FORAGE OATS ASSOCIATED WITH VICIA

Abstract

The present study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the productive (Plant Height "AP", Nº of Plants per m2 "NPM2", Green Matter Yield "RMV" and Dry Matter Yield "RMS") and chemicals (Dry Matter "DM", Crude Protein "PC", Ethereal Extract "EE", Neutral Detergent Fiber "NDF", Acid Detergent Fiber "FDA" and Ash "C") of three varieties of fodder oats associated with Vicia sativa in two types of sowing. To evaluate the productive parameters, a Completely Random Design with a 3x2 Factorial Arrangement was used (being the factors evaluated varieties of oats and types of sowing) and to evaluate the chemical parameters a Completely Random Design was used (being the factor evaluated only varieties of oats); The treatments to evaluate the productive parameters constituted the following combinations: Avena mantaro 15 + Vicia sativa in rows (T1), Avena mantaro 15 + Vicia sativa in broadcast (T2), Avena strigosa + Vicia sativa in rows (T3), Avena strigosa + Vicia sativa in broadcast (T4), Avena cayuse + Vicia sativa in rows (T5) and Avena cayuse + Vicia sativa in broadcast ( T6). There was no significant interaction between the oat variety factor and the type of sowing regarding the productive parameters; the variety factor had a significant influence (P<0.05) only in AP of oats and vetch; In the same way, the type of planting had a significant influence (P<0.05) only on Vetch NPM2; on the other hand, no significant statistical differences (P>0.05) were found in RMV and RMS with respect to variety and type of planting. Finally, no significant statistical differences (P>0.05) were found in any of the chemical parameters (DM, PC, EE, NDF, FDA and C) with respect to the oat variety.
